ABOUT THE EVENT
GALAS is thrilled to participate in Glendale's Peace Walk and Festival. This event is a moving witness to our passion to continue Dr. King's work of justice right here in our city. Designed to bring people from all walks of life together, Glendale's Peace Walk and Festival celebrates how far we have come and serves as an opportunity to rededicate ourselves to the work left to do.
Join us in the GALAS group to march with us or stop by our booth to say hello. You are encouraged to wear clothing and make signs that speak to the values of Dr. King. Children of all ages are more than welcome.
- 10am: Gather for PeaceWalk at First Baptist Church of Glendale
- 11:30am: PeaceWalk Begins (if there is no rain)
- 12pm: PeaceWalk Arrives back at First Baptist Church and PeaceWalk Festival Begins
- 2pm: PeaceWalk Festival Concludes
